Past Events

Alex understands the millennial need to connect to the culture they so deeply crave. It’s that keen perceptiveness that makes her really good at curating people, places and things in order to build unforgettable moments for brands. She is a creative catalyst for businesses to connect with like-minded brands and audiences.

the blank table

Alex launched the Blank Table in San Diego after producing countless culinary events in Chicago with top chefs in the city. The dinner started as an experiment with friend + TBT co-founder Chef Fred Keller and has evolved into a highly sought after dining experience in San Diego. This underground 5-course dinner with pairings happens once a month at an unknown destination. TBT uses guest mixologists around San Diego who elevate the game and choose an off-the-beaten-path location each time to keep guests on their toes.

Drag queen story hour

Storytellers using the art of drag to read books to kids in libraries, schools, and bookstores. DQSH captures the imagination and play of the gender fluidity of childhood and gives kids glamorous, positive, and unabashedly queer role models. In spaces like this, kids are able to see people who defy rigid gender restrictions and imagine a world where everyone can be their authentic selves!

dose market

Dose Market is an ever-dynamic marketplace devoted to showcasing the finest designers, chefs, makers, bakers, entrepreneurs and artists. Alex worked with Dose Market’s founder to initially do PR + expert positioning and the relationship led to consulting and serving as the production arm for her quarterly sold out market.  Featuring new purveyors at each event, the market offered up small-batch foods, new and vintage fashions, unique jewelry and textiles, home goods, and more. Alex helped execute the day-of work with her team for the over 100 vendors for each quarterly event that saw almost 1,000 people a day walk through.

Style of sound

With Chicago’s music festival season encompassing Lollapalooza, Riot Fest, Pitchfork, Spring Awakening and more, Alex partnered with Chicago’s hottest wardrobe stylist, Elizabeth Margulis of Big Hair Big City, to produce a music-inspired fashion presentation at Celeste’s beautiful rooftop garden in celebration. Guests got to see the city’s top creative and influential people in Chicago walking in the show with sounds inspired by performances at the upcoming festivals.

Don't Blush

Chrome City Founder Alexandria Ott and client Siren Betty Design founder Nicole Alexander collaborated to bring creativity, femininity and the celebration of women together for Don’t Blush. Alex based the event’s concept off of the late Friday Kahlo quote,  “I am my own muse. I am the subject I know best. The subject I want to know better.” Alex curated an interactive experience bringing together art, design, performance, and creative collaboration.  Top Chicago mixologist Sophia de Oliveira made drinks while DJ Tess from Slo Mo provided musical entertainment. The evening also featured a tiny tats station by Ashley Simone Lux, a live nude model drawing session celebrating the female form, and a showcase of local female artists curated by Jackie Trezzo.
